Mint Lemonade

Try this refreshing beverage made from fresh lemons and lots of mint.

6 lemons

1/2 - 3/4 cup agave nectar or brown rice syrup

1 cup mint leaves

6 cups water

ice

Methods/steps
Cut the lemons in half and, using the juicer, squeeze all of the juice out of them. Pour the juice into the blender, add the sweetener, mint and 1 cup ice. Blend until the ice is crushed. Pour the liquid into a pitcher, add the 6 cups of water, stir and serve.
Additional Tips
If you can't find ripe lemons at your grocery store, buy frozen organic lemonade concentrate. Since most frozen lemonade comes pre-sweetened, just blend the concentrate and the mint with 1 cup of ice and 1 cup of water. Pour into a pitcher, add the rest of the water, stir and serve.
