Serves 4

2 or more cups of watermelon or water

1 lemon, peel removed

2 bananas, frozen or fresh

1 1/2" ginger root

1/2 - 1 apple

1 large bunch of greens which may include: Kale, Parsley, Dandelion Greens, Lambs Quarters, Nettles, Purslane

2-3 carrots

4-5 cherry tomatoes

2 spears of papaya

1/2 cup fresh or frozen berries

1/8 cup sunflower seeds

1/8 cup pumpkin seeds

1-1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Methods/steps

Cut the top off of the watermelon (see video for a special technique!). Scoop out 2-3 cups and place in your blender.

Peel the lemon and add. Then add the bananas. Blend.

Cut the ginger across the fibers and add along with the rest of the ingredients (apple, tomatoes, greens, papaya, berries, seeds and cinnamon). If the mixture is too thick, add more watermelon or 1/4-1/2 cup of spring water.

If using a Vitamix, don't blend for more than 30 seconds or it will start to heat up.
